DONE - POEM BY ZEEZAR
DONE
She was just a teenage girl
Yet she had been through hell
There was no one to listen or tell
So she withdrew into a shell
She couldn’t sleep at night
No matter how much she tried with all her might
She stayed up trying to make her thoughts right
But the darkness had swallowed every ray of light
There was no one to dry her tears
Nor anyone to soothe her fears
Except the cold whispers she constantly hears
That accompanied her through the years
She finally gave up
Cos she had cried every single drop
She didn’t mean to go over the top
But her demons wouldn’t stop
She yielded to the voices in her head
And cut herself till she bled
And her neatly made white bed
Turned a deep shade of crimson red
