Marijuana also known as weed,cannabis is an amazing plant. It

originated from Central and South Asia, it is cultivated in

different part of the world. Although legalized is some part of the

world for its medicinal value,up till date some countries

prohibited it due to its addictive property.

 Marijuana is taken into the system via different means,

smoked,sniffed,eaten with food or brew with tea. It action is

faster by smoking and it's effects last for 2-6 hours.

Marijuana has active chemicals it includes

(i) Tetrahydrocannabinol [TCH]

(ii) cannabidol [CBD]

The first one TCH produces the 'high' people feel and it's the

psychoactive ingredient  of marijuana.

Most teens take marijuana because it used for recreation, some

goes with excuses that it is good for their body. According to

studies, some uses are yet to break ground, amongst such

include

a) prevention of seizures (a brain disorder)
b) cure for Alzheimer's disease
c) multiple sclerosis

 Many claims marijuana cures --Anorexia(a feeding disorder

where you don't feel like eating even when you are dying of

hunger)
-prevent nausea and vomiting
-ease pains
-high libido during sexual activities
 Marijuana should be taken for fun, because of its devastating effects on our human body.which include
-Redness of the eyes aka blood shot eyes
-Dizziness
-Hallucinations
-Insomnia (inability to sleep) due to hyperactivity of the body.
-Tacharydia (fast heart beat)
-Hepatitis C (a liver disorder)
-Schizophrenia (a mental disorder)


 There is nothing like being intelligent when you take marijuana

because it destroys and kill brain cells!!! Why?  Marijuana is

associated with neuro anatomic alterations in brain region rich

in cannabinoid receptor such as hippocampus, prefrontal cortex,

cerebellum,so when there is high intake of cannabinoid from

Marijuana, it attacks those areas mentioned above.

Hence beware of Marijuana, it's deadly abd should not be taken

for the fun of it.
